The SUPERTMATIK Mental Calculation World Cup for Home-Educated Pupils is a specially designed event tailored to students who are educated at home. With an engaging and dynamic format, this competition is sure to captivate the entire home-education community, keeping participants actively involved in an educational and healthy challenge that spans several months. It encourages regular practice and the gradual improvement of mental calculation skills.


The aim of this competition is to promote the use of the four basic mathematical operations and to encourage the development and diversification of problem-solving strategies — both essential skills for everyday life. Home-educated pupils from around the world will be challenged to progress through increasingly demanding rounds, all striving to reach the final stage, where only the quickest will qualify!

AGE CATEGORIES:


• A – Born in 2018–2019

• B – Born in 2017

• C – Born in 2015–2016

• D – Born between 2011–2014


REGISTRATION:


Deadline: 31 January via www.eudactica.com

Registration must be completed by an adult no later than 31 January by fully completing the online registration form.

The registration fee for the SUPERTMATIK World Homeschooling Cup 2026 is €20.

Once the registration form has been submitted, instructions for payment of the registration fee will be sent via email.


COMPETITION FORMAT:


9 successive elimination rounds, followed by Semi-finals and Finals.


SCHEDULING, COMPETITION CREDENTIALS AND VIDEO RECORDING:


For each round in which a pupil participates, the following procedure must be followed:


1. Scheduling the Round:


Send an email to supertmatik@eudactica.com at least 3 days in advance, including the following details:


• Full name

• Age category

• Preferred date and time (GMT – Greenwich Mean Time)


You will receive confirmation of the scheduled round and login credentials via email within 48 hours of your request.

2. Accessing the Game:


At the scheduled time (a 30-minute grace period is allowed), go to www.supertmatik.net, click on “Login”, and enter your competition credentials.


3. Video Recording:


All games must be recorded on video. Please ensure someone films the pupil during gameplay — the video must clearly show both the participant and the game screen throughout.

The video must be kept until the end of the competition. Do not send the video unless specifically requested via email.

Participants required to submit their recordings will be selected at random and must provide the video within 48 hours of the request.


ROUNDS (DATES, FORMAT AND OBJECTIVES)


Round 1 (Available dates: 9–13 February) – 10 games in Time Attack Mode

Participants must win at least 5 out of 10 games in Time Attack Mode to progress to Round 2.

Even if the objective is reached before completing all ten attempts, all ten games must still be played.


Round 2 (Available dates: 23–27 February) – 5 games in Time Attack Mode

To qualify for Round 3, participants must achieve a best time under 60 seconds across 5 Time Attack Mode games.

All 5 games must be completed, even if the target time is reached earlier.


Round 3 (Available dates: 6–10 April) – 10 games in Vs Robot “Sya” Mode

To advance to Round 4, participants must win at least 5 out of 10 games against the robot “Sya”.

Complete all ten games, even if the objective is reached early.


Round 4 (Available dates: 13–17 April) – 10 games in Vs Robot “Hebe” Mode

Participants must win at least 5 out of 10 games against the robot “Hebe” to move on to Round 5.

All games must be played, regardless of when the objective is achieved.


Round 5 (Available dates: 20–24 April) – 5 games in Time Attack Mode

Participants must achieve a best time under 40 seconds across 5 Time Attack Mode games to qualify for Round 6.

Even if the goal is reached early, all 5 games must be completed.


Round 6 (Available dates: 4–8 May) – 5 games in Vs Robot “Odin” Mode

To proceed to Round 7, participants must win at least 3 out of 5 games against the robot “Odin”.

All 5 games must be played, even if the requirement is met sooner.


Round 7 (Available dates: 18–22 April) – 5 games in Tournament Mode – 10 numerical expressions

Participants must solve 10 numerical expressions in under 45 seconds in at least one of five Tournament Mode attempts.

Only one successful attempt is required to qualify. If the goal is reached, players may stop and are not required to use all attempts.


Round 8 (Available dates: 25–29 April) – 10 games in Tournament Mode – 20 numerical expressions

To qualify for Round 9, participants must solve 20 numerical expressions in under 60 seconds in at least one of 10 Tournament Mode attempts.

Once the objective is achieved, the participant may stop playing — completing all 10 attempts is not necessary.


Round 9 (Available dates: 8–12 June) – 3 games in Tournament Mode – 15 numerical expressions

The 4 participants with the best times solving 15 numerical expressions will progress to the Semi-finals.

Each participant has up to 3 attempts in Tournament Mode. Completing all 3 is optional.


Round 10 – Semi-finals (17 June) – Vs Human Mode

The top four pupils will compete in best-of-5 matches in Vs Human Mode (first to win 3 games). Schedule to be announced.


• Semi-final A – 1st place vs 4th place from Round 9

• Semi-final B – 2nd place vs 3rd place from Round 9


Round 11 – Finals (20 June) – Vs Human Mode

Winners of the semi-finals will compete for the World Title, and the semi-final losers will play for 3rd place. All matches are best-of-5 (first to 3 wins). Schedule to be announced.


• Final B – 3rd place play-off (semi-final losers)

• Final A – Championship match (semi-final winners)


PRIZES:

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will each receive official SUPERTMATIK medals and educational games (SUPERTMATIK, TROPHIC, and BUDDHI).

Final-round participants will also be able to choose one of the following prizes: digital microscope, kayak, electric guitar, or drone.

Official SUPERTMATIK GOLD Diplomas will be awarded to pupils ranked in the top 10 of each age category.

SUPERTMATIK SILVER Diplomas will be awarded to all pupils who reach Round 7.

All other participants will receive a SUPERTMATIK Certificate of Participation.
